Yes, I dare you, READER, whoever the fuck you are. I CHALLENGE YOU, because that's the hip thing to do nowadays.
"Challenge me to do WHAT?" you might ask. Well I challenge you to...I really have no idea, but that's the gist of a little something =actias and ~bah-zero99 came up with tonight.
This is it. You and a friend make a challenge couple, right? So you both challenge each other to draw/write/take pictures of something specific, but it has to be something you don't have much practice with.
The point of all this is that: PRACTICE. You know, that little thing that makes experience and skill. We all know as illustrators, writers, poets, photographers, movie makers, sculpters, whatever you are, that the only way to be real good at something is practice, and we all know that we have weak spots in whatever we do. And those weak spots are A LOT. Soooo...here we go with this little challenge thing.

What's the purpose?
Getting your lazy bun to work and practice a lot for your own improvement,
and maybe see your mate practice for your amusement ;D

What kind of challenge can we make?
A N Y T H I N G ! Whatever you feel like it! Just keep in mind that we're
doing this to HELP each other in our improvement.
Your challenge isn't restricted in any way. You can ask your buddy to work
on their watercolor skill. How about making backgrounds? Poses,
Expressions, use of colors, shading, proportions...EVERYTHING counts here.

But my buddy is a photographer/writer!!
Be creative! Ask them to take a shot of a particular scene or object.
Or challenge them to write a poem/story/song/whateveryouwant of any
subject.

Rules?
Here they are:

1. Try to be as helpful as possible, remember this game's purpose is
polishing our skill.

2. Don't go harsh on this either, if your buddy can barely draw a face, don't
go and ask them for a speed painting of The Last Supper. Be creative and
reasonable.

3. We don't recommend that you take more than a week to finish your piece, unless it's really needed.
Let's say if your friend asked you to work on a background scene, you might
need more than a few hours to complete it.
And we all know we all have our lives outside the screen and shtuff to deal
with so sometimes for personal reasons you won't be able to finish your art
within a week.
We encourage you to still finish the piece even if the week already passed.
However if you and your challenger think you need more time, go ahead and take it. We are putting a week deadline to each other because we think it's a good start to get rid of our laziness when it comes to regular practice.

4. Try to be constant with this, practice makes perfect, there's no perfect in
art. So don't go thinking that one challenge has powered up your skills.
We'll try to do this weekly for as long as we can.

5. If you finish your part of the 'trade' and there's plenty of days before the
week dies, this doesn't mean you can't do anything else but wait until the
next challenge comes. Go and check your art, ask your friend for critique
and try to improve it if you think it's needed and if you feel like doing so.

6. Don't break any deviantArt rules IF you're going to post your work, so keep
that in mind. However if you don't intend to post it, do whatever you want.
However, we'd like that you submit your work, it would spread the word of
this idea and it would inspire more people to join.

7. Can reference or stock be used? Yes. Absolutely, anything as long as
you're not breaking any rules, be sure to ask permission first.
