OH MY FUCKING GOD.

This took me like a whole month to complete. I sort of lost all will to draw during the lapse and this took aaaeeeooonnnsss to complete. I'M SO SORRY PIXEL I HOPE YOU DON'T HATE ME FOREVER AND TRY TO KILL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

So anyways...her request were her and her friend's characters RG (the deer/cat/kinkajou woman) and Rei (the cat/dragonfly girl ovah there) together...so I just...drew them together...
I tried to be a little "loyal" to the animal anatomy while still trying to keep the anthro feel...but I sort of fail because I never ever draw anthro :B, so there are probably a MILLION things off with this picture. Also, I'm sick of it just by staring at it for a month, so I'd appreciate it if I didn't have so much hate-mail ):

So anyways, I did this completely in Painter IX with my stupid tablet which has more and more glitches every passing day :'(.
Also, everything but the background and the wings is put in just one layer. AM I A PRO OR WUT.

The detail in 'Commission - RG and Rei' by ~Penril, especially on Rei is just incredible - also, the picture shown here is about 15% of the original size! Just check out those veins on the dragonfly wings, the rough texture on the arm bands and the red sand in RG's necklace. This picture captures the characters, and the deep friendship between them, perfectly. It's especially amazing to see this piece from an artist who've never done anthro before! ( Featured by `skifi )

Congratulations on the Daily Deviation, is that a good thing that or a bad thing that you have it now? Because the comments don't stop there. ^^; Though I do feel almost the same pain as you when you've been working on a picture for a month, while for me I was working on a new poses on a drawing for a month. ^^;
